Known to be one of the biggest nights in the industry, Peter Vardy Ltd went home with awards for 'Best Community Initiative' and 'Best Company To Work For' as well as the coveted 'Best Motor Group' award. Recognition like this comes from across the industry with manufacturers suppliers and dealers at the focus of the ceremony.

Peter Vardy was voted to 22nd place in the Sunday Times poll for best places to work in the UK 2010. This exceptional result comes of the heels of placing 54th in the same poll last year. This is a strong signal to demonstrate the satisfaction of colleagues in this dynamic company.
Below is an excerpt from the Sunday Times Assesment:
"The entire team from the leadership down are using their passion and drive to achieve results, and as a result have created a superb working environment for all concerned. This massive recognition can be attributed to the whole team for what they are doing and what they believe in.
Chief executive Peter Vardy, who comes from a long line of car dealers, founded the company in 2006. He writes a team email every Sunday to update the workforce and, seen as one of the guys, regularly mucks in on the shop floor.
"Our leader is one of the most visionary, motivational individuals I have ever come across," an employee said. "His enthusiasm spreads throughout the workplace, making the working environment the zone to be in."

Peter Vardy launches the Rookie Sales Academy. We believe it is important to support and develop our colleagues to reach their absolute potential. That is exactly what the Rookie Academy strives to deliver. This programme utilised an open day for candidate selection where people new to the automotive industry were welcomed to show their drive and passion. We used our knowledge and experience to select the brightest and best 11 candidates from the group that applied.
These candidates join as 'Sales Rookies' for a 12 week programme with the aim to give them everything they need to become successful sales advisors within an award winning company.
The 'Rookie' programme is a mixture of classroom training at head office and 'hands on' sales activities at designated dealership as well as more surprising days that remain a secret for now. We aim to work closely with the candidates to generate knowledge and confidence so that they can learn exactly what is needed to make delighted customers who come back time and time again.
Every Rookie will have a dedicated coach throughout the process who will continue to mentor the Rookie when they progress past Rookie status.
